Strengthening Indonesia’s Road Infrastructure: DGH Strategic Plan 2025-2029

More than 250 stakeholders from the Ministry of Public Works and their regional offices (Balais) and Bappenas, contributed insights to shape the final strategy, ensuring it meets national priorities.

The Directorate General of Highways (DGH) hosted a discussion in Jakarta to present their draft Strategic Plan 2025–2029 and gather input on policy and program priorities. The plan aligns with Indonesia’s vision for "Golden Indonesia 2045" and the President’s Asta Cita 2025–2029 priorities, focusing on last-mile connectivity and improved accessibility.

With support from the Government of Australia through KIAT, the Government of Indonesia is strengthening its infrastructure planning to drive sustainable and inclusive development. More than 250 stakeholders from the Ministry of Public Works and their regional offices (Balais) and Bappenas, contributed insights to shape the final strategy, ensuring it meets national priorities.

This initiative aims to enhance connectivity, accessibility, and infrastructure resilience across Indonesia by fostering collaboration and strategic planning.
