The PERINTIS' IWD celebration was attended by M. Sadruddin Hadjar, the Palembang Mayor’s Expert Staff for Government, Social and Community Affairs, local government women’s organisations, women-led and disability NGOs, and university students.
On 7 March 2025, KIAT commemorated International Women’s Day by partnering with communities around the Palembang City Sanitation Project (PCSP). In Jakarta, KIAT was also hosting a discussion session entitled "Accelerating Action through Policy and Practice for Women’s Equality” at the KIAT Office.

KIAT partnered with communities around the Palembang City Sanitation Project (PCSP) to commemorate International Women’s Day. The event, hosted through KIAT’s Inclusive Community Empowerment for Sanitation (PERINTIS) program, showcased various community-level initiatives to promote women and girls’ empowerment for improved inclusive sanitation.

In Jakarta, KIAT hosted a discussion session entitled "Accelerating Action through Policy and Practice for Women’s Equality” at the KIAT Office. The event reinforced KIAT’s commitment to gender equality and inclusion, featuring a keynote address by Prof. Alimatul Qibtiyah, Ph.D., Commissioner of Komnas Perempuan. The session concluded with a fun fact quiz on IWD, fostering an engaging and reflective discussion. Staff also showed their support by wearing purple, green, or white, colours symbolising justice, hope and dignity.
