The Wonosobo Disability Association's discussion on December 5, 2024, highlighted inclusive infrastructure and employment, part of KIAT’s 10-event series for International Day for Persons with Disability

Involving people with disabilities in the planning, design, and delivery of infrastructure helps ensure its accessibility for all users. KIAT is working alongside local governments and civil society to empower persons with disabilities in leadership roles, ensuring that infrastructure development is inclusive and accessible for all.

On 5 December 2024, the Wonosobo Disability Association hosted a discussion in Central Java on how different stakeholders can promote accessibility as well as identify opportunities for the employment of people with disabilities when planning and developing infrastructure projects. This is one of a series of 10 similar events supported by KIAT to celebrate International Day for Persons with Disability 2024.
