KIAT and MPW BPSDM held a strategic workshop under the PAVE initiative to promote women’s leadership and respectful workplace practices in Indonesia’s infrastructure sector.
KIAT held a strategic planning workshop with the MPW Human Resources Agency (BPSDM) as part of its Promoting Advancement of Women in Indonesia’s Infrastructure Sector (PAVE) initiative. The workshop was used to help shape capacity-building initiatives and policy improvements on respectful workplace practices in MPW, laying the groundwork for the partnership.
The workshop kicked off with a talk show entitled "Paving the Way – Advancing Women’s Leadership in Infrastructure Development", highlighting critical discussion points on biases and barriers women face in their career progression. Featuring Canka Amprawati Suryadi Putri, Head of BPSDM and Essy Asiah, Director of Strategic Infrastructure, the session provided valuable insights into the realities that women face in their roles as infrastructure leaders.
This initiative reinforced KIAT’s commitment to fostering equal opportunities in the workplace and supported broader efforts to advance women’s leadership and participation in infrastructure development.
