KIAT and Srikandi BUMN convened a strategic workshop under the PAVE initiative to foster respectful workplace practices and strengthen women’s leadership in Indonesia’s infrastructure sector.
As part of KIAT’s Promoting the Advancement of Women in Indonesia’s Infrastructure Sector (PAVE) initiative, a strategic planning workshop was hosted by Srikandi BUMN (a network of women from across BUMNs, focused on women’s empowerment) to promote respectful workplace practices and women’s leadership in the infrastructure sector. The workshop supported capacity building and identified policy improvements across 9 state-owned enterprises (BUMNs) in the infrastructure sector.
The activity was officially opened by Simon Anderson, Acting Minister Counsellor for Economic, Investment and Infrastructure at the Australian Embassy in Jakarta. The event was also attended by Lieke Roosdianti Pangkey, Executive Director of Forum Human Capital Indonesia, and Fikha Luthfi, Chairwoman of Srikandi BUMN.
The workshop brought together 30 selected participants from infrastructure related BUMNs to brainstorm, share experiences, and reflect on how to strengthen women’s leadership in the workplace. Participants also took part in a talk show on Women in Leadership featuring Aji Prasetyanti - President Director of Hutama Karya Infrastruktur and Mutiara Rosalina Jewondari - Investor Relations Specialist at PT Jasa Marga (Persero) Tbk.
